Dr. Boudreaux is a native of Lafayette, LA, and has practiced clinical psychology since 1971 after getting his Doctorate at LSU, with an internship at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. His practice has focused on interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral intervention with individuals, couples and families, and with all age groups. He has worked extensively in hospitals, clinics and private practice settings. Dr. Boudreaux has developed and directed inpatient treatment programs for adolescents, and has served as interim CEO of a small psychiatric hospital in the public sector. In 2002 he completed a fellowship at the Tulane University Medical Center Depart of Psychiatry and Neurology in Infant Mental Health. He has a particular interest in human attachment through the life span.
Dr. Boudreaux has been in private practice for many years and has been affiliated with Family Focus for three years. He serves as a counselor for children, adolescents, adults, and their families. He is also well-versed in couple’s therapy and groups.
He is the proud father of two married children and the proud grandfather of five grandchildren. |
