Jamie T. Schuler, LCSW, BACS, C-ACYFSW, CCBT
Jamie T. Schuler earned a B.S in Psychology and Sociology from Louisiana State University in 2007. She earned a Master of Social Work degree in 2009 from the LSU School of Social Work. She is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.
In 2013, she was credentialed as a Certified Advanced, Children, Youth, and Family Social Worker by the National Association of Social Workers and is qualified to work with children, adolescents, and families. Specific areas of interest include but are not limited to behavioral problems, parent-child conflict, ADHD screening and treatment, social skills, divorce reaction, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, parenting skills, and self-esteem.
In 2015, Jamie was credentialed as a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. This area of specialization is effective in treating anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem issues, and many more. It is effective in children, adolescents, and adults. The focus of this treatment is to identify how thoughts influence our feelings and our behaviors.
Jamie joined Family Focus in 2013 and has enjoyed providing individual, group, and family therapy to people of all ages.
Jamie is married with two children and loves spending time with her family.
