Jessica Taylor received her B.S. in Family, Child and Consumer Sciences from Louisiana State University in 2009 and her Masters in Social Work from Louisiana State University in 2011. As part of her studies in graduate school, she gained experience through internships focused on therapy with children and adolescents as well as inpatient treatment.
After graduation, Jessica became employed at Baton Rouge Crisis Intervention Center to train volunteers in answering the National Suicide Prevention phone crisis line and online crisis chat. She also has been a guest speaker at community agencies, high schools, college classes and churches about suicide awareness.
Jessica joined Family Focus in 2013 and has a special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. Jessica has been a co-therapist in Family Focus' Equine Facilitated Learning program since 2015.
